So efficient English teachers are demanded all over the world".The department of English is striving for enrichment of the language and providing in depth aesthetic knowledge. The Department has been engaged in improving teaching methods and materials with the requirements of the fast-changing scenario of English Studies
- The Department is also going to play an important role in conducting special classes for Remedial English and Communication skills for students drawn from the various disciplines of the college.
- To acquire the knowledge of sound system exclusive language lab is set up in the ratio of 1:40.Practice the students to teach in simulation situation so that they can teach without any fear.
- Experts are invited to train the students in Phonetics and communication skill.
- Students are motivated to collect literary information from magazines newspapers and furnish in the department.
- English forum is organized for providing opportunity for students to exhibit their skills.
- To develop the students literary skills and communication skill the various competitions and activities are conducted like quiz, elocution, short story writing, debate, mono acting etc.
